We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Inside Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team! Reporting to the Customer Service/General Manager, an Inside Counter Sales Representative is primarily responsible for executing the company mission of customer service. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for facilitating sales by processing orders and quotations while providing application and product expertise to existing customers. 
 
  
 
Inside Sales 
As a Senior Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative with Colony Hardware, you will help the construction industry and trades reach new heights and accomplish amazing feats. To do this, you will be a key contact at Colony Hardware for our customers, processing quotes, entering orders, and offering additional support to our customers. 
 
A Little About Your Day: 
  • You will work directly with customers to ensure they order the right products and that the orders are ready on time.
  • Working face to face with customers you will provide a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add-ons, and other support.
  • You will coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders.
  • You will communicate with customers via phone and email, responding to the needs of customers quickly and accurately.
  • You will support operations by pulling orders and packing them as needed.
  • You will assist with inventory management and restocking.
  • You will perform transfer needs as requested.
  • You will serve as a backup to the Branch Manager when needed and requested by him or her.
  • You will complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the branch and management.

What you’ll need for success: 
  • A minimum of two-to-three years of successful inside sales experience.
  • At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of customer service and order processing systems.
Preferred Skills  
  • Prior experience in the sales of construction materials-related distributorship (commercial, residential, or both).
  • Prior experiences in the sales of concrete and masonry accessories, waterproofing materials, and fabricated rebar.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
