In the Senior HRBP role, you will be a part of creating and reinforcing a high-performance, collaborative culture across the business. As a business partner, you will provide strategic advice, and help in aligning the HR team to the overall business by supporting an aggressive growth strategy. This role will primarily support our areas in the North region of our business and will require travel to other locations (20% to 30% including overnight). In addition, you will be a part of a dynamic & innovative Human Resources team focused on creating a best-in-class experience for employees including:

  • Engage and partner with the business leaders to drive thoughtfully planned talent acquisition strategies, succession planning, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Takes an active role in developing and sustaining highly aligned and engaged employees who understand the vision and the strategy of the business.
  • In coordination with the entire Colony HR team, participate in the planning, designing, and development of innovative HR solutions that create a world-class employee experience, while also aligning with and supporting the organization's vision and strategy.
  • Assist business leaders by providing data and analytics closely tied to business objectives.
  • An ability to manage the entire life cycle of an employee, and work with HR specialists when necessary to ensure consistency of the employee experience in the application of HR processes and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and industry regulations, and advise Managers on legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5-7 years in the Human Resource field.
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key HR functions, including Organizational Design, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning and Development, and Employee Relations.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Highly motivated, human resources professional with experience successfully facilitating and supporting organizational and cultural change.
  • Respects and embraces diversity as a differentiator and recognizes that differences in thoughts and ideas drive innovative solutions.
  • Strong functional background in people selection, talent assessment, and development.
  • An ability to coach and develop, while holding accountability within an organization.
  • M&A experience (preferred), particularly integrating acquisitions into a highly dispersed organizational structure.
  • A person of the highest character, understanding that integrity and high ethical standards are the keys to success.
  • The proven ability to exercise good judgment and discretion within an organization.
  • The ability to follow through on internal client requests and have a sense of urgency for matters that are critical to the business.

Travel: 20% - 30%
