As the eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for executing the end-to-end customer, consumer, and digital roadmap supporting Colony Hardware digital transformation initiative. This critical role will drive the vision and strategy, while using data and insights to ensure optimal customer / consumer experience and prioritization of business needs.  
Develop and facilitate the implementation of ecommerce and mobile solutions, consistent with the company vision and market needs, while serving as the liaison between various company functions, notably business development managers, executives, and various major stakeholders. 
This role will have direct reporting relationship to Colony’s head of marketing and communications, and is considered a critical hire that will help build the foundation of digital capabilities for the organization. 
Duties and Responsibilities   
  • Develop, communicate, and manage long-term business vision and strategy for Colony’s digital transformation journey.
  • Deliver 20% P&L growth within digital channel year over year.
  • Identify new digital opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on translating business objectives into roadmap strategy with clear prioritization and ROI identified.
  • Take lead role in managing the end-to-end implementation and rollout of key ecommerce and mobile initiatives to timeline, budget, and agreed to expectations.
  • Manage all elements of digital solutions day to day requirements and operations.
  • Implement digital ecom SEO fundamentals and maintain best practices.
  • Implement data-driven web merchandising strategies across key user flows and product discovery (site search, product tags, associations, collections, features, filter attributes, sort order, cross-sell/up-sell, landing pages, etc.)
  • Manage end to end market gap analysis, and conducts customer/consumer feedback and Multi-variate testing experiments, pre, and post deployment of a digital solution.
  • Report on key KPI’s and provide actionable insights that help maximize sales and user experience.
  • Deliver excellent attention-to-detail to maintain data integrity, quality assurance, industry policies, brand standards and customer experience.
  • Estimates work effort, leads backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories.
  • Defines the test plan and approach for each release and all documented test cases.
  • Leads the planning product release plans and sets expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Provides vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Advanced knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies such as SDLC and agile software development methodologies
The Right Candidate 
  • Proven track record of developing, communicating, and managing long-term digital transformation journey.
  • Must have experienced a key B2B ecommerce adoption and transition with customers and internal sales team alike. A leader by example and hands on through the process.
  • Demonstrate prior experience delivering 20% P&L growth within digital channel.
  • You create awesome, intuitive, and impactful mobile and ecommerce solutions to meet key customer and consumer needs and deliver the business value they seek.
  • You challenge the “way things have always been done” and facilitate finding solutions to challenging complex business problems. You are comfortable challenging yourself everyday and finding new ways to improve the product and experience for our digital community.
  • You bring your passion and energy for digital solutions to best serve our customers. You guide within the ever-changing digital landscape.
  • You deliver success by managing expectations and communicating clearly and confidently.
  • You will quickly absorb complex, ambiguous concepts and rapidly construct high-level product epics and features. Incorporate your agile experience navigating the SDLC and pull from your experience using Scrum, Lean, Kanban, TDD and/or XP to ensure success.
  • Develop features into user stories that are granular enough for a sprint and convey the goals and vision for each sprint.
  • Craft and manage a product backlog that clearly articulates all aspects of the user requirements and define well-formed acceptance criteria.
  • Define and manage release plans. Deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage project priorities, project plans, schedules, and budgets
6 - 8 years experience implementing digital E-Commerce and mobile app solutions, preferably in a customer facing B2B whole distribution or retail environment. 
3 - 5 years of project management experience and 2+ years of Agile experience 
Strong understanding and results in web and mobile design and analytics 
BA/BS degree preferred. Marketing or Technical degree or knowledge of technology strongly preferred. 
Experience implementing new features and functionalities on e-commerce native mobile apps platforms. 
Prior working experience with frameworks such as Optimizely or Shopify very desired. 
Expert understanding of modern digital solution management. 
Strong project, analytical, communication and time management skills. 
An entrepreneurial attitude with a strong sense of reliability and ownership. 
Proven track record of launching products that have real business and customer impact. 
Experience working with enterprise applications, mobile, web, and/or back-end application development  
Experience working with an issue tracking system and/or workflow management tools like JIRA
