Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the consolidation and analysis of company-wide operating metrics, financial forecasting, and the annual operating plan. The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for collaborating with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in areas of financial planning and budgeting.  
 

A little about your day: 

  • You will prepare and analyze consolidated reporting at all levels of the organization on actuals, forecasts, and prior year results.
  • Working with various departments you will develop and create financial models for analysis, decision modeling, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Used for strategic planning, you will create financial models that simulate business operations and thought leadership.
  • You will identify areas of opportunity to drive process improvement in such areas as ad-hoc reporting, tools, and dashboards.
  • You will support and analyze such areas as company commission program, annual operating budget, and regional, product, and supplier revenue results.
  • Working with various tools and systems you will summarize financial results in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand format.
  • You will develop, edit, and maintain databases.

What you’ll need for success: 

  • A college degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 5 years + of experience in a financial analyst role working with multiple locations.
  • Experience in a distribution or similar environment preferred.
  • Expert-level experience in Microsoft Office with the use of advanced functions and formulas in Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems, Netsuite a plus.
